LA PAZ, Mexico- The Junior National Team will play their first game at the 18U Pan American Championship/World Cup Qualifier on Saturday, September 6th (Noon EDT) when they take on the United States at Arturo C. Nahl Stadium in La Paz.
The tournament schedule had to be altered with news that Venezuela would not be attending the event. To complicate matters, Hurricane Norbert is expected to hit Baja California which could also impact the schedule that is set to begin on Friday, September 5th.
Team Canada hit the field today at Arturo C. Nahl Stadium for a brief workout with rain limiting the team to the use of the outfield surface only. The stadium consists of artificial turf that should benefit the event with the threat of rain looming.
