50 for 50: Week 4 winner revealed, Week 5 voting begins June 2nd

OTTAWA-Week 4 of voting in Baseball Canada’s 50 for 50 contest is complete and our fourth semi-finalist has been determined.

Canada wins 2011 Pan Am Games gold medal won out and will move on to the semi-final round beginning on July 14th.

Week 5 of voting in the preliminary round will begin Monday, June 2nd at 12pm ET.

Voters will be able to choose one of the following five choices to join our Week 4 winner in the semi-finals:

Week 5 (June 2nd 12pm ET-June 6th 10am ET)

1) National Team Qualifies for 2008 Olympics

2) Scott Thorman drafted in 1st round of 2000 MLB Draft

3) Chatham, NB wins 1995 Sr. National on home soil

4) Baseball Canada named 2011 COPABE Federation of the Year

5) Walker, Whitt, Soulliere inducted into CBHOF (2009)
