PLAY BALL heads to Vancouver, August 1st!

Come PLAY BALL with Major League Baseball, the Vancouver Canadians, Jays Care Foundation, Baseball Canada, and Baseball BC! All participants will receive a PLAY BALL T-shirt, wristband, Franklin PLAY BALL bat & ball set, and more!

Baseball Canada is pleased to partner with these great organizations to bring a PLAY BALL event to Nat Bailey Stadium in Vancouver on August 1st!

The PLAY BALL initiative is MLB’s collective effort to encourage young people and communities to participate in baseball- or softball-related activities, including formal leagues, events and casual forms of play.

This ‘Play Ball’ clinic is aimed at youth aged 13 and under and is a free festive event where young people will have the opportunity to participate in baseball activities while having fun.

What is LTAD?

Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) is a systemic approach being developed and adopted by Baseball Canada to maximize a participant's potential and involvement in our sport. The LTAD framework aims to define optimal training, competition and recovery throughout an athlete's career to enable him / her to reach his / her full potential in baseball and as an athlete.
