OTTAWA – The 27^th annual Baseball Canada Cup Championship gets under way tomorrow in Saskatoon, SK. Some of the country’s best young talent will be representing their respective provinces in hopes of bringing home a medal.

Defending champions British Columbia are looking to make it three consecutive gold medals this year having won in Saskatoon last year and in Sherbooke, QC at the Canada Games in 2013. They happen to be the only province to have done it before (1995-96-97).

2014 medalists include Alberta who took silver and Québec who defeated Saskatchewan in last year’s Bronze Medal Game.

Cairns Field will host the opening game Wednesday with Ontario taking on Québec at 9:00am CST.
