San Juan, Puerto Rico- Canada has made a roster move with the recent injury of pitcher Tim Burton (Ottawa, ON). Originally, Burton was to be replaced on the roster by Tom Robson (Ladner, BC) who has since been replaced by Nick Bucci (Sarnia, ON).
Bucci was a member of the 2009 World Cup team that brought home a bronze medal from Europe. Bucci spent this past season pitching for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the Class-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.
Canada will play its first game of the Pan Am Games/World Cup Qualifier on October 2nd against Nicaragua at 1pm ET.
