Challenger Baseball National Jamboree set for June 6th

OTTAWA-Challenger Baseball Canada is happy to announce that the 3rd annual Challenger Baseball National Jamboree will take place on Saturday, June 6th at Rogers Centre in Toronto.

Following a matinee contest between the Toronto Blue Jays and Houston Astros, Challenger Baseball will take over the outfield at Rogers Centre as participants and their “buddies” will have the opportunity to play a game on a big-league field.

In 2013, the first Challenger Baseball National Jamboree took place at Rogers Centre where over 30 participants took part. In 2014 that number tripled as nearly 100 players were split into eight teams to play in one of four games at the home of the Blue Jays.

The afternoon provided a memorable experience for participants and families alike, and also included guest appearances from Blue Jays players Chad Jenkins and Kevin Pillar along with former Blue Jay Anthony Gose and members of the Blue Jays Coaching Staff.
