Women’s Championship set to begin on July 27th

OTTAWA – Baseball Canada’s championship season is about to get started with the Women’s Championships set for July 27th to 30th in Halifax and Upper Sackville, Nova Scotia.

Nine teams are in Nova Scotia for the event, representing seven provinces including host Nova Scotia along with BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and two entries each from Québec and Ontario.

Ontario enters the event as the four-time defending champions having won ten Women’s Championships gold medals in the 15-year history of the event including a gold medal win over Québec in 2022.

WHAT: 

Women’s Championships at Mainland Commons in Halifax and Weir Field in Upper Sackville.

 WHEN: 

Round robin play begins on Thursday, July 27th with medal games set to take place on Sunday, July 30th
