EL TORO, Dominican Republic – Daniel Carinci (Ajax, ON) went 3-for-5 and drove in three runs to lead the Junior National Team to a 5-4 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates Dominican prospects in the final contest of the Dominican Summer League tour.
GUERRA, Dominican Republic – The Junior National Team suffered a doubleheader sweep at the hands of the Dominican Summer League Rays and Dodgers on the second to last day of the DSL tour.
BOCA CHICA, Dominican Republic – The Junior National Team had their sights set on their first win of the Dominican Summer League tour but that was spoiled by the Minnesota Twins Dominican prospects who scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh to come away with a 7-5 victory.
BOCA CHICA/GUERRA, Dominican Republic – The Junior National Team dropped both ends of a doubleheader today in the Dominican Republic as day six of the nine-day tour concluded.

SAN PEDRO de MACORÍS, Dominican Republic – A long day of baseball saw the Junior National Team fight their way back to earn a 3-3 tie against the Milwaukee Brewers Dominican prospects while and error-filled contest in the morning resulted in a 10-6 loss to the Detroit Tigers’ Dominican squad.
BOCA CHICA, Dominican Republic – Saskatoon’s Connor Sparks provided a solid start on the mound, but the Junior National Team could not muster any offence as the Philadelphia Phillies Dominican prospects came away with a 5-0 win.
BOCA CHICA, Dominican Republic – The New York Yankees Dominican Summer League squad hit three home runs including two in a six run first to earn an 11-3 win over the Junior National Team and hand the Canadian squad their second loss on the day.
BOCA CHICA, Dominican Republic – A four-run ninth inning saw the Dominican Summer League Mets claw their way back to tie the Junior National Team in what eventually went down as a 5-5 tie.
