Rawling's and Cleve's Source for Sports have teamed up for Minor Ball Day at the 2013 CitiFinancial Baseball Canada Under 21 Championship, forming a double play combination that's tough to beat. Rawling's, the leader in providing the best baseball glove in the game for players of all levels, has announced their sponsorship of Minor Ball Day at the national tournament scheduled for Dartmouth and Halifax from Aug. 15 -19.
Twelve lucky minor ball players will have the opportunity to win a beautiful Rawling's Mark of a Pro Youth Glove simply by attending games on Thursday, Aug. 15. Six games are scheduled for the day at Beazley Field in Dartmouth and the Mainland Common in Halifax. Each minor ball player will receive a ticket upon admission for entry into a draw at each game, the glove to be presented in the middle of the 5th inning of each game. To be eligible to win one of the 12 gloves to be given away all minor ball players must wear their team jersey to the game(s). The more games that the minor ball players attend, the better their chances of winning! For the schedule for Rawling's Minor Ball Day, see www.juniornationals.ca/schedule.
Cleve's, well known for sponsorship and support of baseball and amateur sports, will provide free t-shirts to the first 50 minor ball players attending Opening Ceremonies at 6:15 at Beazley Field. Cleve's will also play a big role in the Run For The Cure Home Run Derby scheduled for Wed., Aug. 14, at Beazley Field, starting at 7:00 p.m.
