Ontario uses six Manitoba errors to prevail in win
August 25, 2006

TIGNISH - The ONtario Twins took advantage of six costly Manitoba Black Sox
errors as they improved to 2-0 here with a 7-2 win on day two of the 2006 Greco
Baseball Canada Midget Nationals at Aces Diamond in Tignish.
Ontario had just four hits in the game while the Sox had five, but it was

twice in the game in three at bats. Ian Campbell (1-3, run scored, RBI) and
pinch hitter Sean Lemon (1-1) were the others to get a hit.
For Manitoba, Patrick Marion (2-3, run scored), Kellen Burman (1-3, RBI), Vivek
Elimban (1-3, RBI) and Daniel Perron (1-3).
Winning pitcher was Billy Matin who allowed one run on three hits while fanning
seven batters. Eric Wakeman came on in relief for one inning walking one and
striking out one.
Losing pitcher was Jean Michel Habbeck who went five innings allowing seven runs
on three hits, walking six and striking out two batters.
