Peewee Western (Nanaimo, BC)

BC1 Abbotsford-17 SK2 Saskatoon Blue Jays-5

Ryan Rebuck (Surrey, BC) tossed six innings and struck out eight while also going 3-for-3 at the plate with two RBI’s as Abbotsford beat the Saskatoon Blue Jays 17-5. Brendan Arabsky (Surrey, BC) went 2-for-4 with four RBI’s and John Lipp (Langley, BC) was 3-for-5 with two RBI’s.

MB2 Winnipeg South-14 AB1 Sherwood Park-11

Winnipeg South smashed-out eighteen hits en route to a wild 14-11 win over Sherwood Park. Six Winnipeg South players had multi-hit games including Jared Spearing (Winnipeg, MB) who went 3-for-4 with two RBI’s. Ben Dalke (Winnipeg, MB) had eleven strikeouts in five innings pitched while Sherwood Park’s Jakob Brinkhof (St. Albert, AB) had two hits and two RBI’s.

Nanaimo-10 MB1 Midwest-3

Four Nanaimo pitchers combined to only give up two hits as the host’s defeated Midwest from Manitoba 10-3. Dylan Coghlan (Nanaimo, BC) went 3-for-4 with four RBI’s and Ben Dumont (Nanaimo, BC) was awarded the win after fanning three batters in two innings pitched.

Saskatoon Braves-8 AB2 Red Deer- 2

The Saskatoon Braves scored five times in the third inning en route to an 8-3 victory over Red Deer. Jonathon Duff (Regina, SK) and Jordan Malainey (Saskatoon, SK) each collected three hits while Duff had one RBI and Malainey collected four. Malainey also threw one inning on the mound and struck out the side.
