Nova Scotia starting pitcher Alex Ostov threw a complete game 7 hitter as Nova Scotia defeated PEI 7-4 to take the 3rd place consolation game. Ostov helped himself at the plate as well with a single and a solo home run in the 3rd. Nova Scotia came out strong with 3 runs in the top of the first thanks to a 3 run home run by Tyler Hall. Ben Knapman also added a pair of hits. For PEI, Cleve McNeil had a single and a 2 run home run to earn Game MVP honors. Tyson Arseneault got the start and pitched well, giving up 3 earned runs in 4 innings of work with 4 strikeouts.
