EX-MAJOR LEAGUE ALL-STAR TO PITCH FOR N.B.
August 04, 2010

Jason Dickson was on the biggest stage of his life in the 1997 MLB All-Star game and 13 years later will be on the biggest stage offered to amateur baseball players in Canada when he pitches for the Fredericton Peterbilt/DQ Royals at the national championship later this month. Dickson, Executive Director of Baseball New Brunswick, came out of a 2-year retirement to return to the Chatham Ironmen of the N.B, Senior Baseball League. He has helped lead the Ironmen to a first place, 19-7 record. He is 4-0 and has allowed just one earned over 33 innings, an amazing 0.21 ERA. He has allowed 23 hits, has struck out 29 and walked but 6 batters over that time.
