Ottawa, ON – While the kids are getting back into classrooms, they’ll still be playing on the diamonds this weekend at the 13U Peewee Atlantic championships in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The tournament will feature teams representing the East Coast.
Back to defend their 2012 title is Fredericton, who also happens to be this year’s host team, while the other sevens teams will be gunning to dethrone them from the top. There are eight teams total in the tournament, with two teams representing Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador, respectively.
Tournament play begins Thursday with two games, and runs through Sunday with the Bronze and Gold medal games.
