The 2008 Canadian National Junior Baseball Championship Host Committee Inc. is proud to announce that the City of Charlottetown will be one the 2008 Canadian National Junior Baseball Championship “Platinum” sponsors.

The beautiful City of Charlottetown is located on the south shore of Prince Edward Island (PEI), just off the eastern shore of Canada, in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, and separated from the mainland by the Northumberland Straight. Centrally located and easily accessible, Charlottetown is located within a 45 minute drive to all major points of access to and from the Island.

The Greater Charlottetown area has a population of 60,000. The city covers a land area of 44.33 kilometres. Charlottetown is the capital city of PEI, and is Canada's "Birthplace of Confederation", as a result of the historic 1864 Charlottetown Conference that lead to Confederation.
