Vaughan, north of Toronto, in Canada's central province of Ontario, is a city made up of five distinct communities, Concord, Woodbridge, Kleinburg, Maple and Thornhill, each with its own unique flavour and appeal. The area was home to the Huron almost one thousand years ago and throughout the 20th century has evolved from a rural, agrarian township, incorporated in January 1850, into an ethno-culturally diverse, progressive city.
