August 14 to 18, 2014
 

Teams: Athletes, coaches and mission chiefs.

 
 

Teams should arrive in Magog before 4 PM on Wednesday August 13, 2014.

The cities of Magog, Coaticook and Sherbrooke are situated near the American border. They were also the host cities for the Baseball competition during the 2013 Canada Games. For more information regarding theses host cities, please visit the following websites

The 22 members of each team (18 players, 3 coaches and 1 mission chief) will be lodged in one of two, “Hôtels Villegia” hotels: www.hotelsvillegia.com.

Lodging will be available from Wednesday, August 13 to Sunday August 17, 2014; inclusively.  For province who will take a plane 19 august, 18 august will be available for lodging.

 

Transportation will be provided for all team members and is available to and from the airport as well as between the hotels and playing fields (to and from) also for special events. Any teams that have their own buses will be expected to use them during the championship for their own transportation.

We request that teams confirm their travel plans (plane-bus-train) along with their expected arrival time in Magog, 30 days before the championship.

 

The welcome BBQ will be held  at: the “Parc de l’est” in Magog, from 5 to 7 PM on August 13, 2014.

 

Teams will be responsible for their own meals during the championships.

 

The “Hôtels Villegia” can provide a meal plan at a cost of $50.00 per day. Boxed lunches are available with 24 hour notice.

Breakfast:       7 to 9 AM
Lunch:            11:30 AM to 1:30 PM
Supper:           4:30 to 6:30 PM
 

All games will be played  at the ”Parc de l’est” in Magog, at the ”Stade Julien Morin” in Coaticook or at the ”Stade Amadée Roy” in Sherbrooke. All these venues are within a 30 minute drive radius.

 

There will be a pre-tournament meeting on Wednesday August 13, 2014 at the “Manoir des Sable”, 8:00pm

Ticket prices are as follows: $10.00 per day (access to all 3 participating parks) or you can purchase an open pass that will allow access to all 3 parks for the duration of the championships, at a cost of $30.00. Cost per game will be $5.00. For children under the age of 12, when accompanied by an adult, admission is free.

Each will receive a $40.00 per diem for each day that they are participating in the championships.

 

There will be another pre-tournament meeting, specifically for umpires at the “Manoir des Sable”. Exact time and in which conference room: to be determined.

 

Changing rooms are available at each of the 3 playing fields for the use of umpires.
