National Capital Girls Baseball

Dedicated to growing girls baseball in the National Capital Region, our group is excited to have been chosen
by Baseball Canada to host the 21U Women’s Invitational Tournament in August 2019. In addition to growing
interest in girls baseball by organizing events and raising funds for this tournament, our goal is to build a
community so that young girls can discover and develop their passion for the game to help them become the

Alternate Arrangements

Team Accommodations

Ottawa has a number of great hotels in the downtown and surrounding areas. Given that it is the long weekend and there are a number of local tournaments in the city that weekend, it is recommended that teams make their accommodation arrangements as soon as possible.

Team Meals

The culinary scene in Ottawa has come alive in recent years, with a thriving community of Ottawa chefs and Ottawa restaurants making names for themselves both at home and abroad. As one of Ontario’s designated culinary tourism destinations, the city, it's restaurants and its local food producers are all working together to bring locally-grown and prepared foods to tables across the region through an initiative called Savour Ottawa.

Ottawa restaurants are wonderfully diverse. In the mood for French, Italian, Chinese or seafood? Choose from scores of each. Craving something a little more unique and exotic? You’ll find it. Looking for more casual fare for lunch, a large group, or a quick snack? Check, check and check. Bon appetit!

Team Transportation

Teams are responsible for their own transportation. Ottawa is a major city with access to taxis, uber and public transit (OCTranspo buses and light rail). Car Rentals are available at the airport and throughout the city.
