3. Wednesday August 15th Agenda
a) Teams should check-in & register at Fanshawe College by no later than 4:00pm
b) Team should be ready for pick up at 5:15pm at Fanshawe College to travel to St. Thomas for Home Derby and welcome dinner at the park. Welcome dinner will be a beef roast with potato, salads, dessert.
c) The Home Run Derby will begin at 6:45pm at Emslie Field. Rules and format will be provided to each team prior to the event.
d) Coaches Meeting at 815pm at Power Alley Baseball 560 Talbot Street St. Thomas
e) Umpires Meeting 6:45pm at Power Alley Baseball 560 Talbot Street St. Thomas
4. Thursday August 16 Agenda
All teams not already in St. Thomas need to be ready at Fanshawe College to board the buses to St. Thomas (Emslie Field) at 515pm.
All teams will take part in the Opening Ceremony at Emlsie Field beginning at 6pm. Additional information will be available at the pre-tournament meetings.
5. Team Transportation
Will be provided to all teams to travel from Fanshawe College to each park and back to the college. A transportation schedule will be available to all teams. Teams also can be picked up at the London Airport, London Train Station, and the London Bus Terminal as required. If transportation is required from Toronto, please let Derek Brooks know and information will be provided for booking (Toronto pick up will be at the team expense).
6. Team & Umpire Accommodations
Baseball Canada officials, Umpire Supervisors, and Umpires will be staying at the Best Western Stoneridge Inn and Conference Centre. https://stoneridgeinn.com/
Athletes, Coaches, and Chefs will be staying at Fanshawe College in the Merlin Residence. Fanshawe College is a 25-minute bus ride to Emlsie Field and Cardinal Field in St. Thomas. Athletes and officials will stay in shared suites and each participant will have their own bedroom with key card access.
