Baseball Nova Scotia and Hammonds Plains Minor Baseball welcome everyone to Canada’s Ocean Playground, Nova Scotia.
TEAMS: (Players, Coaches and Team Officials)
Teams must arrive in Halifax by 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 22, 2012.
Players and Coaches are asked to be at the Opening Banquet, sponsored by the Domino’s Pizza and Fairlanes Bowling Alley, starting at 6:00 PM Wednesday August 22, 2012. (Complimentary for Players, Coaches, Managers, officials, and major sponsors). Location – Fairlanes Bowling Alley, Halifax Shopping Centre.
Accommodations for players are as follows: Four players per room inclusive August 22-27. Accommodations for teams and officials have been arranged at Holiday Inn Express, 133 Kearney Lake Road , Halifax, NS – Toll Free 1-800-565-3086
Should teams wish to arrive earlier or stay longer it will be at their own expense. If you do plan on arriving early please contact Holly LaPierre via email at holly.lapierre@bellaliant.ca .
All teams and officials who are flying in will arrive at Stanfield International Airport. All travel arrangements should be confirmed with Holly.
All games will be played at Joan and Robert Lenihan Fields in Bedford – There will be washrooms and concessions available at the ball fields. The fields will be available for practice on Wednesday and bookings can be made on a first come first served basis through Holly. After the tournament has started – there is a soccer field adjacent to the fields that will be available for pre-game warm-up.
MEETINGS:
The Pre-Championship Meeting is scheduled for 9:00 PM Wednesday, August 22, at the Holiday Inn Express. Each team is permitted only to send two reps per team and their Chef de Mission.
UMPIRES
Umpires are asked to be at the Opening Banquet at Fairlanes, Halifax Shopping Ctr 6:00 PM Wednesday, August 22.
