OTTAWA – Covid-19 continues to have an impact on the international baseball calendar as the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) announced today that the 2020 Women’s Baseball World Cup has been postponed for the second time and is now scheduled for March 1-9, 2021 in Tijuana, Mexico.
Baseball Canada fully recognizes the current and potential travel and health restrictions due to Covid-19. We are currently opening registration for participants with no obligation in order to gauge interest. Three potential outcomes will be considered based on governments health and travel regulations:

OTTAWA – An international playing career that’s included three Women’s Baseball World Cup medals and a Pan Am Games silver medal is now in the rearview mirror for Jenna Flannigan who has notified Baseball Canada that’s she’s retiring as a player from the Women’s National Team program.
