OTTAWA-When the 2008 IBAF 18U World Championships ended in Edmonton graduating members of Team Canada went their separate ways to continue their baseball careers at either the collegiate or professional level.

ORLANDO-The Washington Nationals used a six-run fourth inning and some solid pitching to defeat the Junior National Team 12-2 as spring training at ESPN Wide World of Sports continued.
ORLANDO-Malik Collymore (Mississauga, ON) hit the Junior National Team’s first home run of spring training, but it wasn’t enough as the Houston Astros prospects earned an 11-3 win as spring training continues.
ORLANDO-Cal Quantrill (Port Hope, ON) tossed three shutout innings and only gave-up one hit, but the Washington Nationals prospects produced enough offence to defeat the Junior National Team 5-1.
OTTAWA- Baseball Canada is pleased to announce that long-time Senior National Team member Jimmy Van Ostrand (Richmond, BC) was named the International Baseball Federation’s (IBAF) Senior Athlete of the Year for 2012.
DUNEDIN-The Toronto Blue Jays prospects hammered-out 16 hits and took advantage of four Junior National Team errors to cruise to a 14-5 win today at the Bobby Mattick Complex.
