ST. PETERSBURG, Florida – The Canadian Junior National Team banged out 11 hits, while four pitchers combined to limit Puerto Rico to just one run on five hits as the juniors cruised to an 11-1 win.
ST. PETERSBURG, Florida – The Canadian Junior National Team (U-18) opened their spring training schedule today at the Walter Fuller Baseball Complex against a Major League Baseball sponsored prospect squad from Puerto Rico and came away with a come from behind 9-5 win.
OTTAWA- Baseball Canada announced today the names of 30 players that will take part in the Junior National Team’s Spring Training camp at the Walter Fuller Complex in St. Petersburg, Florida from March 10-20.
OTTAWA – It may not feel like spring in parts of Canada, but across locations in Florida and Arizona spring training is underway for all thirty Major League Baseball clubs that includes 15 Canadians among those in big league camp.
OTTAWA-The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) announced their deadlines to bid on international competition for two events in 2018 and one event in 2019.

With all of the aforementioned having reached the big leagues, a new wave of Canadian prospects are emerging led by a trio of Junior National Team grads.
OTTAWA- For the fifth time in six years, the Junior National Team will face a split squad version of the Toronto Blue Jays during Spring Training.
