2025 MLB Draft League Series Preview

The Canadian Junior National Team is set to make its much-anticipated debut in the 2025 MLB Draft League, where they will face off against top draft-eligible talent from across the circuit.

From June 10 to 15, the six-game series will take place at Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium in Frederick, Maryland, and Kendrick Family Ballpark in Morgantown, West Virginia. The Junior National Team will play two games each against the Frederick Keys, West Virginia Black Bears, and State College Spikes.

Canada’s roster features some of the country’s premier young prospects, many of whom are eligible for the 2025 MLB Draft. Among them are INF/OF Tim Piasentin (Coquitlam, BC) and RHP Will Hynes (Mississauga, ON), both of whom are currently ranked on the 2025 MLB Top 150 Prospect List.

This series presents a valuable developmental opportunity for the Canadian squad, as they compete against players in a similar age group and draft eligibility bracket on a professional stage.

All games will be streamed live via MLB platforms. For full schedule details, results, and more, visit the official MLB Draft League website.
