OTTAWA- The first day of action at the 2019 21U Women’s Invitational Championship occurred on Thursday, August 1st.
Québec’s offence kicked off the tournament with a 12-2 win over Saskatchewan. Erica Ahad collected three hits and five RBIs.
Nova Scotia shut out Manitoba by a score of 10-0. Katie Hagen tossed three innings on the mound while picking up two hits and three RBI at the plate.
The day wrapped up with a 3-2 walk-off victory for Québec over Ontario. Alexandra Lacroix helped Québec secure the win with 5 innings pitched.
