OTTAWA-The submissions are in, 50 moments/stories have been selected and placed into groups, and now it is time to determine the top moment/story in the 50-year history of Baseball Canada.

Beginning on Monday, May 5^th at 12pm EST, you can have your say by selecting a moment or story that you feel is one of Baseball Canada’s finest.

Here is how the contest works:

Preliminary Round (May 5-July 11)

The preliminary round of voting will take place over a 10-week period beginning Monday, May 5^th and wrapping-up on Friday, July 11^th.

During the preliminary round a new group of five moments/stories will be posted on baseball.ca each Monday at 12pm EST (see schedule below). Voters will then have the opportunity to select the moment or story that they feel should move on to the semi-final round.

Semi-final Round (July 14-July 25)

Once the preliminary round is completed, ten moments/stories will remain and will be split into two groups of five.

The first semi-final round will begin on Monday, July 14^th and conclude on Friday, July 18^th, while the second semi-final round will commence on Monday, July 21^st and conclude on Friday, July 25^th.

At the end of the semi-final round, two moments/stories will remain and go head-to-head to determine a winner of the Baseball Canada 50 for 50 contest.

Final Round (July 28-August 1)

Final round voting will take place from Monday, July 28^th – Friday, August 1^st.

The winner of the 50 for 50 contest will be revealed during the week of the Baseball Canada Cup which takes place August 6^th-11^th.
