The Chatham Miramichi Honda Ironmen and the host committee are proud to present the 2019 BIGS Seeds Men's National Championship.
The City of Miramichi welcomes you! We look forward to hosting the event and will aim to make the experience a memorable one for all teams, players, staff, and fans.
Teams:
Teams should arrive in Miramichi on Wednesday, August 21, 2019. All teams and officials using air transportation should fly into Moncton International Airport. You will be met at the Moncton airport upon your arrival.
Teams should register at the host motels upon arrival in Miramichi. We have four different motels (see accommodations).
Players, coaches, and managers are asked to attend a reception at Ironmen Field beginning at 6 pm. Home Run Derby follows at 7 pm. Each team is required to have one hitter and pitcher for the Home Run Derby.

Meetings:
The pre-Championship meeting is scheduled for 9:30 pm Wednesday, August 21. Location TBA. Each team is permitted to send 2 representatives along with the Chef de Mission.
General information and team eligibility will be items on the agenda.
The official opening will take place on Thursday, August 22nd at 7 pm at Ironmen Field
Transportation:
Transportation will be provided for teams that will include pick-up and drop-off at the airport and to and from competition during the championship. Transportation will also be available to/from the motels to the fields.
Venues:
All games will be played at two fields during the tournament. Both fields have lights with grass infields and other amenities.
Ironmen Field in Chatham is the primary field.
Waldo Henderson Memorial Field in Chatham Head is the secondary field.
Washrooms and concessions will be available at both game venues.
Practice times on request.
Closing Ceremonies and Awards: Sunday, August 25 at Ironmen Field at the conclusion of the gold medal game.
Game Tickets:
* Tournament passes are good for the Home Run Derby and all round robin and championship games.
* Passes are good for both venues (Chatham and Chatham Head)
* Passes are now available at Carters Family Convenience in Chatham and
N & J Convenience in Newcastle
