Moncton New Brunswick is proud to be hosting the 2017 13U National Atlantic Championship this season commencing on Thursday, September 7th through to Sunday, September 10th. Our committee has been busy planning this exciting weekend of events to ensure that you and your baseball team have a fun and memorable weekend in the hub city of our beautiful province.
Please take the appropriate time to review the outlined details regarding our championship weekend, so that you don’t miss a thing!
ACCOMMODATIONS:
All teams are asked to make reservations at one of our four Host Hotels
Hampton in and Suites 700 Mapleton Rd
Four Points by Sheraton, 40 Lady Ada Blvd which is located just off Mapleton Rd
Both the above-mentioned Hotels are located less than a 10-minute drive to the tournament ball Parks.

These hotels are about a 20-minute drive to the ball fields
The 4 participating Hotels have reserved blocks 2 teams per hotel

Accommodations for the Umpires and Baseball Canada Officials are arranged at the Hampton Inn and Suites
All arranged accommodations are available from September 6th, 2017 to Sept 10th. Should teams wish to arrive earlier or stay longer, it will be at their own discretion to make these arrangements.
MEETINGS:
The Pre-Tournament meeting is scheduled for Wednesday September 6th starting at 8:00pm at the Hampton Inn 700 Mapleton Rd,

TEAMS - Players, Coaches and Team Officials:
Teams are asked to arrive in Moncton by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6th.
OPENING CEREMONIES: will be at 4:30 pm Thursday, September 7th at the CN Sportplex, Field 5.
TOURNAMENT BANQUET: is scheduled for Friday, September 8th at 6:30pm at the Legends Restaurant (Moncton Coliseum). Tickets are provided for accredited players, coaches and provincial reps. A Hot Meal will be served (buffet style). Teams are expected to wear team attire (Casual attire).

FIELDS: All games will be played at the CN Sports plex baseball Fields located just off of Russ Howard Drive. Fields 5,7 and 9 will be used.
UMPIRES: Umpires should arrive in Moncton by 4:00pm on Wednesday September 6th 2017
Accommodations for Umpires: arrangements have been made at the Hampton in and suites. There hotel will be coved for Check in on Wednesday September 6th and Check out on Monday September 11th. Should the umpires wish to arrive earlier or leave later they will be asked to make prior arrangements with the hotel.

Transportation has been arranged to and from the airport and during the tournament for all umpires. Umpires will receive a Meal Per Diem from the Host Committee upon arrival at the championship tournament. Umpires will each receive a complementary ticket to the Tournament Banquet being held on Friday, September 8th . A Hot Meal will be served. Dress is casual.
