13U National Championships 2023

The Woodstock Minor Baseball Association, in collaboration with the city of Woodstock, is proud to host the 13U National Championship that will be held August 23-29, 2023 in Woodstock Ontario at Southside Park. This event will feature 12 teams made up of the best baseball players of 13 years and under in all of Canada.

Host requests All teams arrive at the airport by 1:00pm or at the hotel by 3:00pm Wednesday, August 23, 2023.

Welcome Night

All players, coaches and chefs de mission are asked to attend the welcome event being held Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 4:30pm at Southside Park in the heart of Woodstock. At this event:

• Player, coach and offiicial credentials will be produced
• Individual and team photos will be completed
• A barbecue dinner will be held for all players, coaches, chefs de mission Baseball Canada reps, umpires and supervisors (parents may attend and purchase dinner items)

Pre-Championship Meetings

The pre-championship meeting will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 7:30pm at the Woodstock Holiday Inn 

The umpires meeting will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 8:00pm at the Woodstock Holiday Inn 

Travel To Woodstock

All participants travelling by plane are requested to plan for arrival at:

• London International Airport – 35 minutes from Woodstock Hotels via HWY 401
• Region of Waterloo International Airport – 40 minutes from Woodstock Hotels via HWY 401
• John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport – 44 minutes from Woodstock Hotels via HWY 403

Participants wishing to arrive at Toronto Pearson International Airport will be subject to an additional pick-up charge

Fields

The Championship will be held at Woodstock Southside Park East and West 192 Old Wellington St S, Woodstock, ON N4S 3L3. 

Opening Ceremonies - Hosted by Hazel Mae and Kevin Barker

All coaches and players must be present at the opening ceremonies that will be held on Thursday, August 24 at 5:30pm.
