13U National Championships 2018
The Woodstock Minor Baseball Association, in collaboration with Baseball Ontario and the city of Woodstock, is proud to host the 13U National Championship that will be held August 23-27, 2018 at Cowan Fields in Woodstock Ontario. This event will reunite 10 teams made up of the best baseball players of 13 years and under in all of Canada.
Host requests All teams arrive at the airport by 1:00pm or at the hotel by 3:30pm Wednesday, August 22, 2018 if they want to participate in the welcome night. This event is offered to all teams, coaches, chefs de mission, umpires and supervisors.
Welcome Night
All players, coaches and chefs de mission are invited to the welcome night being held Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 5:30pm. Location Quality Hotel - Lower Level Vansittart Room. The evening will start with a hot meal - Caesar salad, meat sauce spaghetti, bread, dessert and drink are on the menu for the opening banquet. There will also be a special presentation made by the organizing committee with some guest speakers. The banquet is also a free event offered by the organizing committee to all players, coaches and chefs de mission.
Each team must confirm their presence before August 1st, 2018.
Baseball Canada reps, umpires and supervisors are invited to the opening banquet. Their presence must be confirmed by August 1st, 2018
Pre-Championship Meeting
The pre-championship meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 7:30pm. The location is The Vansittart Room at the Quality Hotel & Suites - 580 Bruin Blvd, Woodstock, ON N4V 1E5. The umpires meeting will be held in the Wellington Room at 8:00pm at the Quality Hotel & Suites.
Team and Official Accommodations
The teams will be staying The Quality Hotel & Suites - 580 Bruin Blvd, Woodstock, ON N4V 1E5. The accommodation will be available August 22-28. Officials will be staying at The Quality Hotel & Suites - 580 Bruin Blvd, Woodstock, ON N4V 1E5

Fields
The Championship will be held at Cowan Fields - 1459 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock, ON N4T 0B3. Both fields where games will be played are located at the same park. There is also one practice field available at this location. The practice schedule will be developed at a later date and time.
Opening Ceremonies
All coaches and players must be present at the opening ceremonies that will be held on Thursday, August 23 at 5:00pm. Teams must arrive for 4:30pm. A photo session will take place on this day. The detailed schedule will come out at a later time.
Competition
All players and coaches must be present at the Skills Competition that will be held Saturday, August 25th. The competition will start at 6:00pm. Teams must be at Cowan Fields by 5:30pm to participate.
Tickets for games
Tickets for spectators will be for sale at the following prices:
$30 for the entire Championship
$15 for a day
Entrance is free for children 12 years and under if they are accompanied by a paying adult.
$75 Family passport (2 adults + children 13-18 years old)
