All eyes on Dartmouth and Québec City as Baseball Canada national championships set to begin this week

This week, Canadian baseball takes over two provinces as national championships unfold in Dartmouth, NS, and Québec City, QC, between August 7th and 10th, 2025.

Men’s 22U National Championship

Eight teams will compete at Beazley Field in Dartmouth and Mainland Commons in Halifax, to take home the 22U National Championship title.

Last year’s edition, also held in Dartmouth, saw Ontario (Mississauga Tigers) take home gold, while Ontario (East York Twins) captured silver, and Manitoba with Bronze.

WHAT
Men’s 22U National Championship returns to Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

WHEN
Round robin play is set to take place between Thursday, August 7th and Saturday, August 9th. Two quarter final games will play out on Saturday evening, with all placement, semi-final and medal games on Sunday, August 10th.

WHO
Five provinces will be represented through eight teams.

  • Manitoba (Carillon Sultans)
  • New Brunswick (Metro Mudcats)
  • Nova Scotia 1 (Halifax Mets)
  • Host- Nova Scotia (Dartmouth Renegades)
  • Nova Scotia 2 (Metro Marlins)
  • Ontario 2 (Windsor Selects)
  • Ontario (Sarnia Brigade)
  • Prince Edward Island

Women’s National Championship

Between August 7th and 10th, eight teams will compete at Stade Canac and Parc Henri-Casault in Québec City, Québec, for the National Championship title.

Also in Québec City, last year’s title was captured by Québec, with British Columbia earning the silver and Québec (host) capturing the bronze.
