Baseball Canada Announces Junior National Team’s Spring Training Camp Roster and Schedule

OTTAWA, ON - Baseball Canada has announced the Junior National Team’s roster and schedule for the annual Spring Training Camp, which will take place from April 10-20 at Disney’s Wide World of Sports complex in Orlando, Florida.

The roster will feature 29 Canadian prospects, including Brett Lawrie (Langley, BC) and Carter Bell (Courtenay, BC). The camp will serve as an evaluation of the team as it prepares for the World Junior Baseball Championship in Edmonton from July 25^th-August 3^rd, 2008.

The Junior National Team will take on Major League affiliated teams of the Atlanta Braves, Detroit Tigers, Cleveland Indians and Houston Astros.
