OTTAWA – Today, on International Women’s Day, the Toronto Blue Jays announced that they will be hosting a Youth Baseball Clinic to honour longtime Women’s National Team member Amanda Asay who tragically lost her life in January following a skiing accident.
The clinic will be held in Nelson, BC on May 15th in the community that Asay lived and where she was an active member of Nelson Minor Baseball.
Hosted by the Blue Jays Academy, the youth clinic on May 15 coincides with a planned Celebration of Life for Asay on the same weekend.
Registration information will be communicated by the Blue Jays at a later date.
