Document Hub - Return To Play by Province

OTTAWA – With governments throughout the country lifting restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, provincial baseball organizations have been working extensively to provide their members with plans and guidelines on what returning to baseball will look like.

Return To Play documents will be put into action by provincial baseball organizations once they receive permission from governments and public health officials for associations, teams and athletes to return to the diamond for baseball activities.

“Baseball Canada is thrilled to see that baseball has returned on Prince Edward Island with Manitoba and Québec set to welcome athletes and coaches back to the field in the coming days. It is our hope that other provincial members will soon be able to follow so that baseball can be played in some form across the country this summer.

Before returning to the diamond, we encourage all associations, families, athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers to familiarize themselves with the return to play guidelines that have been put in place by provincial baseball organizations with regards to safe practices before, during and after your time at the baseball field. We commend all of our provincial members who have worked and continue to work tirelessly in keeping the health and safety of their members at the forefront while coming up with creative ways to have baseball activities in 2020. We wish the entire Canadian baseball community a successful return to the diamond when it is deemed safe to do so.”

As provincial baseball organizations across the country reveal their return to play plans, Baseball Canada will add them to the hub below.
