-The juniors scored their only run of the ballgame in the bottom of the inning when Cesar Valero (Calgary, AB) and Owen Diodati (Niagara Falls, ON) led off with singles while Ayden Makarus (Okotoks, AB) looped a single into right field to bring home Valero.
-Loreto Siniscalchi (Burnaby, BC) entered the game in the fifth with runners on the corners and nobody out, and walked the first batter he faced before recording a strikeout and getting a sac fly for the second out. A double and single followed and UCF took a 10-1 lead.
-UCF would add three more runs in the sixth before putting up another four in the seventh to go up 17-1.
