CALGARY, AB – Québec is golden after an incredible undefeated run at the inaugural 19U Women’s National Championship in Calgary, Alberta, defeating Ontario 14–2 in the gold medal game.
After both teams traded runs in the first inning, Québec’s offence proved too much for Team Ontario—scoring early and often, collecting 14 runs on 14 hits en route to a dominant championship performance.
Team Ontario finishes second after a strong 4–2 showing at the event, with both losses coming at the hands of the newly crowned champions.
Saskatchewan Takes Home the Bronze

BC jumped out to a 6–0 lead with back-to-back three-run innings, but Saskatchewan responded in the third, then exploded for 12 runs in the sixth to complete the comeback and lock down the win with a clean seventh.
With the loss British Columbia slides into the fourth-place finish, capping off a strong tournament run.
