NCCP Learning Facilitator
Train the coaches to coach at all levels. Every NCCP workshop is led by a qualified NCCP Learning Facilitator (LF) who has undergone nationally standardized training. NCCP Learning Facilitators have the appropriate knowledge, skills, and attitudes to facilitate learning sessions that produce skilled and knowledgeable coaches.
Through a competency-based approach, NCCP Learning Facilitators ensure the coaches they train can be certified on their ability to create safe environments for happy participants. NCCP Learning Facilitators also contribute to the sport community as ambassadors for the NCCP.
Becoming an NCCP Learning Facilitator
All NCCP Learning Facilitators must complete the following four-step pathway:

I’m Ready to Become a Learning Facilitator - Now What?
There are two ways to become an LF candidate:
MCDs, PSOs and Baseball Canada can identify LF candidates.
Individuals can self-nominate.
Individuals who nominate to their Provincial Baseball Organization themselves are sent the Letter of Self-nomination and are asked to fill in this letter and submit it to their Province along with their résumé and NCCP Certification Transcript.
Individuals identified by MCDs, PSOs and Baseball Canada do not need to submit a letter, résumé and NCCP Certification Transcript.
Prerequisites:
To qualify for selection as an LF, an individual must be certified in a Baseball Canada coaching context at which they will be delivering coach education, or higher
Have completed Safe Sport eLearning
Must submit a valid criminal record check.
They must be a Certified coach for at least 5 years in the context in which they would deliver training, or at a higher level. Exceptions can be considered by Baseball Canada.
Application process:
All LF candidates must submit an LF Application Form
All LF candidates must submit a Letter/Preliminary LF Worksheet.
The completed forms and the following documents can be provided by the PSO and sent back to them.
The PSO will send to Baseball Canada all applications that meet the standards for submission noted below.
