Former Women’s National Team standout and current Women’s National Team coach Ashley Stephenson will be delivering four Initiation Coach Clinics for women only in the month of May!

These FREE clinics are being offered in four Canadian regions and will be conducted in a virtual format.

Stephenson has been involved with the Women’s National Team program since its inception in 2004 winning seven medals including a silver at the 2015 Pan Am Games. She is extremely passionate about baseball in general but more specifically, about getting girls and women involved in the game!

Baseball Canada’s efforts to grow female participation in baseball includes impacting the game from a coaching perspective and adding more female coaches! This is where Ashley comes in as she will be sharing her passion and baseball expertise during these sessions! 

DATES & TIMES: 

• Saturday May 15th @ 4PM ET *For women coaches from Ontario   
• Sunday May 16th @ 6PM ET  *For women coaches from Alberta, Saskatchewan & Manitoba  
• Saturday May 29 @ 12PM ET  *For women coaches from BC  
• Sunday May 30 @ 11AM ET  *For women coaches from the Atlantic provinces

*An Initiation Coach Clinic delivered in French by Baseball Québec’s Vanessa Riopel will be announced soon! 

DURATION:

• The Initiation Coach Clinic will last for approximately 4 hours

PREREQUISITE:

• In order to participate in Ashley’s sessions (Initiation Coach Clinic), participants must have taken the Coach Initiation in Baseball online course available at nccp.baseball.ca.

HOW TO REGISTER:

Already have an account on nccp.baseball.ca?

• Coaches that already have an account at nccp.baseball.ca can register via the “Clinics” tab in your account.

Don’t have an account at nccp.baseball.ca?

• No problem! Please send an email to Baseball Canada’s Michel Landriault (coach@baseball.ca) who will provide you with an “access code” that you will use to create an account at nccp.baseball.ca. You will then be able to take the prerequisite course and register, via the “Clinics” tab, for Ashley’s Initiation Coach Clinic.
