Welcome to the Miramichi

 The Chatham Miecon Ironmen and the host committee are proud to present you the 2015 Canadian Senior Men’s National Baseball Championship.

 Teams

Teams should arrive in Miramichi by 4pm Wednesday August 19,2015

All teams and officials should fly into Moncton International Airport, unless otherwise arranged with the host committee.

Teams should check-in at the host motels upon arrival. We have four different motels. (see accommodations) Your team host will be in Moncton to meet you on your arrival. 

 Players, coaches and managers are asked to attend a welcoming social and homerun derby starting at 6pm Wednesday August  19 at Ironmen Field. Accreditation at the ballpark on Wednesday before social.

The menu for the social will be announced soon

This will be followed by a Home Run Derby, more info to follow

The Opening Ceremonies will be held Thursday at 7pm.

 

 Meetings

 The pre-Championship meeting is scheduled for 9:30pm Wednesday August 19

(TBA). Each team is permitted to send 2 representatives along with the Chef de Mission.

General information and team eligibility will be items on the agenda.

 

Transportation

 Transportation will be provided for teams that will include pick-up and drop-off at the airport and to and from competition during the championship. Transportation will also be available to/from the motels to the fields.

 Venues

 All games will be played at two fields during the tournament. Both fields have lights with grass infields and other amenities.

Ironmen Field in Chatham is the Primary

Waldo Henderson Memorial Field in Chatham Head is Secondary

 Washrooms and concessions will be available at both game venues.

 Practice times on Wednesday (TBA)

 The menu for the social at 6pm (TBA) this will be followed by the Home Run Hitting contest at 7pm.  The home run derby will consist of one representative from each team along with the pitcher for the batter.

 Game Tickets

Homerun Derby(Wednesday ) $5

Day Passes(Round Robin)  $15

Day Passes (Medal Round) $ 15   (Sunday)

Tournament Passes  $50,(Includes home run derby,

Senior and Student passes $40 (senior 60 and over),(students 13 and up) including homerun derby.

Children 12 and under accompanied by an adult free.

Passes are good for both venues (Chatham and Chatham Head)

Passes are now available at Carters Convenience  in Chatham
