Former California Angels pitcher and all-star, Jason Dickson, has been forced to withdraw from the national tournament due to a lingering hamstring injury that has plagued him all summer. Dickson was 5-1 in the N.B. senior loop and had an ERA under 1.00. Team N.B., represented by the Fredericton Peterbilt/DQ Royals had added the righty to their roster from the Chatham Ironmen, the host for the national tourney next year. He has been replaced by Tom Burns, a .350+ hitter from the Ironmen.
