2019 13U National ChampionshipsAug 22-25   Repentigny, Québec

The Charlemagne-Le Gardeur Baseball Association, in collaboration with Baseball Québec and the city of Repentigny, is proud to host the 13U National Championship that will be held August 22-25, 2019 at Laverdière Park in Repentigny. This event will reunite 10 teams made up of the best baseball players of 13 years and under in all of Canada.

All teams must arrive at the airport at the latest 1:30pm or at the hotel by 2:00pm Wednesday, August 21, 2019  if they want to participate to the welcome night. This event is offered to every teams, coaches, chefs de mission, umpires and supervisors.
 

Welcome Night

All players, coaches and chefs de  mission are invited to the welcome night being held Wednesday, August 21, 2019. The evening will begin with a one hour game of bowling being held at Quilles G Plus de Repentigny, 130, boul. Industriel, Repentigny, J6A 8A9. Players, coaches and head of missions must be on site by 4:45pm. This is a free activity offered by the organizing committee.

After, we will head to the Laurent-Venne Community Centre located at 225, boul. J.A. Paré, Repentigny, J5Z 4M6 where a hot meal will be served. Caesar salad, meat sauce spaghetti, bread, dessert and drink are on the menu for the opening banquet. Just before the banquet, there will be a special presentation made by the organizing committee. The banquet is also a free event offered by the organizing committee to every players, coaches and chefs de mission.

Each team must confirm their presence before August 7th.

Officials and supervisors are invited to the opening banquet. Come join us at the Laurent-Venne Centre for 5:30pm. Their presence must be confirmed by August 7th.

Parents who would like to attend  the opening banquet can  buy tickets at the cost of $25 per  person. A cocktail will be offered to you before the arrival of the players, and a glass of wine or a beer served during the main course is also included. We will be waiting for you directly in the room at 5:30pm. Tickets are limited and will be available online starting August 8th.

Pre-Championship Meeting

The pre-championship meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 21 at 8:45pm at the Laurent-Venne community centre located at 225, boul. J.A. Paré, Repentigny, J5Z 4M6.

The umpires meeting will be held at the hotel, time to be determined.      

Team Accommodations

The teams and officials will be staying at l’Auberge Hôtel Royal Versailles located at 7200, rue Sherbrooke Est, Montréal, H1N 1E7. The accommodation will be available August 23-28.

Airport Arrival

All participants travelling by plane must arrive at the Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau International Airport in Montreal. Your flight schedule must be communicated to us as soon as possible.

There is a possibility of transportation for parents from the airport to the hotel Royal Versailles at a cost of $25 each for the two-way trip, depending on the seats available on the bus. You must reserve you seat by emailing Francine Cinq-Mars at president@angelsbcl.ca

Fields

The Championship will be held at Laverdière Park, located at 200, rue Saint Paul, Repentigny, J5Z 2H9. Both fields where games will be played are located at the same park. There are also two practice fields available at this location. The practice schedule will be communicated at a later time.

Opening Ceremonies

All coaches and players must be present at the opening ceremonies that will be held on Thursday, August 22. Teams must arrive for 5:30pm. The souvenir photo session will take place on this day. The detailed schedule will come out at a later time.

Tickets for spectators will be for sale at the following prices:

$35 for the entire Championship

$15 for a day

Entrance is free for children 12 years and under if they are accompanied by a paying adult.

$75 Family passport (2 adults + children 13-18 years old)
