We are pleased to welcome you to Regina, Saskatchewan this summer! Plans are well on their way to ensure this year’s championship will be a great one. Please take the appropriate time to review the outline details regarding our championships so that your experience in Regina will be an enjoyable one. Once again, we are very pleased to be your hosts for this year’s Baseball Canada Men’s National Championships!

 

2025 Men's National Championships

The Regina Trappers Baseball Club, in collaboration with the City of Regina are proud to host the Men's National Championship that will be held August 21-24, 2025 in Regina Saskatchewan at Currie Field as well as Optimist Park. This event will feature 10 teams made up of the best Men's ball players in all of Canada.

Host requests that all teams arrive at the airport by 4:00pm or at the hotel by 4:00pm Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Buses to Currie Field will leave from the Host Hotel starting at 6:15pm for the coaches meeting, opening ceremonies and home run derby.

NOTE: Teams do not need to be in full uniform for opening ceremonies, but please be in matching team attire (hats, jersey's, golf shirt etc.). Basic dress code in effect.

 

WELCOME NIGHT

All players, coaches, chefs de mission, umpires and officials are asked to attend the welcome event being held Wednesday, August 20, 2025 starting at 5:30pm at Currie Field.

At this event:

  • Player, coach and offiicial credentials will be provided
  • Parents and others are invited to attend and purchase food items from our food trucks and concession stand on site.
  • A Beer Garden will be open and made available. 
  • Opening Ceremonies. Welcome comments by local dignitaries and team introductions.
  • The Western Cycle Source for Sports homerun competiton with an overall HR Derby Winner along with an EAST vs WEST team competition winner (team total home runs) 

 

PRE-CHAMPIONSHIP MEETINGS

The pre-championship meeting will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2024 at 4:30pm on site at the Double Tree by Hilton.

The umpires meeting will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2024 at TBD pm at the Hampton Inn & Suites.

 

OPENING AND CLOSING CEREMONIES

All coaches and players must be present at the opening ceremonies that will be held on Wednesday, August 20 at 7:00pm.

Closing Ceremonies will take place on Sunday August 24 at Currie Field immediately following the Gold Medal Game. Attendance is encouraged but not mandatory.

 

HOMERUN COMPETITION

All players and coaches must be present at the Homerun Competition that will be held Wednesday, August 20 at 7:30pm.

 

TRAVEL TO REGINA

All participants travelling by plane are requested to plan for arrival at:

  • Regina International Airport - 10 Minutes to the Team Residence - 15 - minutes to Ballparks.

ACCOMODATIONS:

Accommodations may be made with officials at the Double Tree By Hilton. All arranged accommodations are available from your arrival on Wednesday August 20th to your departure on Tuesday August 26th.

***The Host is not responsible for paying hotel parking for any provinces that will have vehicles***

Transportation

Transportation has been arranged to and from the airport and during the championship for all umpires.

Accommodations

Umpires have been assigned to the Hampton Inn And Suites. All arranged accommodations are available from your arrival on Wednesday August 21st to your departure on Tuesday August 26th.

 

TICKETS 

Tickets/Tournament passes will be available for purchase:

Tournament Pass: $50

Day Pass: $20

Twilight Pass (After 5pm) $10

 

 

The Host Committee will pickup and drop of teams, if you have flights coming into and out of Regina International Airport ONLY.

Once teams are here, the host committee will transport to and from the team residences to their game day ballparks with school buses (each team will have their own bus for transport TO and FROM their games). If teams plan on using their own bus, please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
