Greetings from the 2025 Baseball Canada Women’s National Championship Organizing Committee!

 

We are pleased to welcome you to Quebec city this summer! Plans are well on their way to ensure this year’s championship will be great one. Please take the appropriate time to review the outlined details regarding our championship so that your experience in Quebec city will be an enjoyable one. Once again, we are very pleased to be your hosts for this year’s Baseball Canada Women’s National Championship!

Important information regarding shoe restrictions: please take note that at both stadiums, you cannot play with metal cleats. Rubber cleats are permitted only.

 

Team/Player Information

Arrival: Wednesday August 6th at 4:30 pm Welcome Event:

Wednesday August 6th at 5:00 pm at Stade Canac, 100 Rue du Cardinal-Maurice-Roy, Québec, QC G1K 8B3. The welcome event includes the following:

  • Unlimited hot dog, pizza, chips, and popcorn.
  • Three drinks (beer, wine, or soft drink) per person.
  • Singer show on the terrasse.
  • Game ticket for a professional baseball game between Capitales de Québec and Brockton Rox at 7:00 pm.
  • The cost for food, drinks, singer show and game ticket is $20 tax included per person (total value of $60).
  • Special country theme evening and terrific ambiance within a unique stadium with a crowd of more than 4,000 people.
  • Ceremonial first pitch(s) of Capitales’ game will be done by one player of each team participating at2025 Women’s championship (and present at Welcome Event).

Pre-Tournament Meeting – Wednesday August 6th at 3:30 pm at Stade Canac.

Opening and Closing Ceremonies

  • Opening Ceremonies: Thursday August 7th at 6:00 at Parc Henri-Casault.
  • Closing Ceremonies will take place following the Gold Medal Game.

 

Transportation

For those teams planning to utilize the host transportation: transportation will be provided from the airport to the host hotel, and game day shuttles for players, coaches, and team personnel will be provided to and from the venue before and after games.

 

Accommodation

Room blocks at hotels are set aside by the host however teams/provincial offices are responsible for managing their respective hotel blocks. If you are unsure of your hotel situation, it is recommended to reach out to your provincial baseball association as they have been in contact with the hosts and/or Baseball Canada to block rooms.

 Costs (tax included) for each field are as follows:

  • Regular natural field: no fee.
  • Parc Henri-Casault: $120 per hour.
  • Stade Canac: $220 per hour.

Umpires

Umpires are invited to Welcome Event. Please see information below. Tickets will be sent to umpires by email.

Arrival – Wednesday August 6th.

Umpire Meeting – Wednesday August 6h. Please see with your supervisor for time and location.

Accommodation

Umpires’ hotel will be communicated soon. All arranged accommodation will be available from your arrival on August 5thto your departure on August 12th.

The venues for the 2025 Baseball Canada Women’s championship are:

  • Stade Canac: 100 Rue du Cardinal-Maurice-Roy, Québec, QC G1K 8B3.
    • Metal cleats are permitted.
  • Parc Henri-Casault : 5395 4e Avenue O, Québec, QC G1H 5C4.
  • No metal cleats permitted at both fields.
