Bantam Boys (Vaughan, ON)

Québec-14 Manitoba-4

Antoine Léonard (Bécancour, QC) fell a homerun short of the cycle and collected one RBI as Québec defeated Manitoba 14-4. Charles Leblanc (Laval, QC) had a single, triple and two RBI’s as part of Québec’s thirteen hit attack. Québec scored runs in all but one inning and Julien Cyr (Montréal, QC) pitched three innings to get the win.

Vaughan-12 Saskatchewan-7

Robert Byckowski (Etobicoke, ON) went 4-for-4, including two triples and three RBI’s as Vaughan beat Saskatchewan 12-7. Garik Godard (Woodslee, ON) was credited with the win after only pitching 2 2/3 innings but had seven strikeouts. Erik Climenhaga (Saskatoon, SK) had two doubles for Saskatchewan.

Ontario-12 New Brunswick-1

Ontario made quick work of New Brunswick collecting twelve hits for a 12-1 mercy-rule win. Austin O’Boyle (Toronto, ON) led the offence as he went 3-for-3 with three runs scored and had one RBI. Three Ontario pitchers combined to only allow three hits as Hayden Hodgson (Leamington, ON) picked up the win.

Alberta-6 Nova Scotia-3

Isagha Eagletail (Calgary, AB) tossed a complete game and struck out eight as Alberta doubled-up on Nova Scotia 6-3. Alberta scored four runs in the fifth to take the lead for good. Erin Smith (Okotoks, AB) had a hit and two RBI’s and Nova Scotia’s Cody Johnston (Pictou, NS) had a single, double and one RBI.

BC-12 Saskatchewan-0

Alex Hendra-Brown (Victoria, BC0 hit a three-run homer as BC blanked Saskatchewan 12-0. Clint Taylor (North Delta, BC) had a single, triple and one RBI while Colton Wood (Victoria, BC) struck out six in 4 1/3 innings of work to record the win.

Québec-9 PEI-2

PEI committed five errors and Québec took advantage to remain undefeated with a 9-2 win. Abraham Toro-Fernandes (Montréal, QC) went 2-for-3 with one RBI while Xavier Bilodeau (Québec, QC) earned the win after pitching three innings and striking out five batters.

New Brunswick-12 Newfoundland-4

Corey Kavanagh (Fredericton, NB) got the win on the mound and fell a homerun short of the cycle with one RBI as New Brunswick beat Newfoundland 12-4. Kavanagh struck out eight through 5 2/3 innings of work while Mitchell Hazlett (Riverview, NB) went 3-for-4 with three RBI’s.

BC-10 Manitoba-5

BC used nine hits to score ten runs as they doubled-up on Manitoba 10-5. Sam Stevenson Victoria, BC) and Tanner Hess (Victoria, BC) each collected two hits and Graddy Zubaidi (White Rock, BC) threw four innings on the mound that included six strikeouts.

In other action, Vaughan cruised to an 11-1 win over PEI.
