TEAMS: (Players, Coaches and Team Officials) Teams must arrive in Moncton by
10:00 a.m. on Thursday September 10th. th at Holiday Inn Express for $115/night + HST. To make a reservation please call (506)384-1050 and mention Baseball Canada Peewee Eastern Championship.
Transportation: All teams are responsible for their own transportation. Banquet: Players and Coaches are asked to attend a welcome banquet at the Tim Hortons 4 Ice Centre starting at 7:00 p.m. on Friday September 11 encouraged to wear team attire. Game Site: All games will be played at the CN Sportsplex. Practice fields are available and bookings can be made on a first come first served basis through Mike Doucette mike15@nb.sympatico.ca. Meetings: The Pre-Championship Meeting UMPIRES: Umpires must arrive in Moncton by Accommodations: Arrangements for rooms are at the Crowne Plaza. There will be two umpires per room. Accommodations are available and paid by the host committee from September 9 Transportation: Umpires who are flying to Moncton are asked to fly to the Greater Moncton International Airport (YQM). Plans will be made to ensure umpire are picked up at the Greater Moncton International Airport on their arrival and will be returned prior to their departure. In addition, transportation arrangements have been made for the umpires for travel to and from their hotel to the ball diamonds prior to their assigned games. Banquet: Umpires are asked to be at the Tim Hortons 4 Ice Centre to attend a welcome banquet @ 7:00 p.m. on September 11, dress is business casual. Umpires will receive a Meal Per Diem from the Host Committee upon arrival at the championship.
