Baseball Québec and Baseball Féminin Saguenay in association with Baseball Mineur Jonquière welcome everyone to the U16 Girls Canadian Championship 2014.
TEAMS (Players – Coaches – Team Officials):
Teams must arrive in Saguenay by 3:00 pm on Wednesday, August 20, 2014.
Players and Coaches are asked to be at the Opening Banquet at La Pulperie de Chicoutimi / Musée regional, 300 Dubuc street in Chicoutimi for Wednesday, August 20 at 6 pm.
Accomodations for players and coaching staff are as follows:
- Four players per room inclusive August 20 to August 25.
- Two rooms per team for coaching staff.
- Accomodations for teams and officials have been arranged at “Le Montagnais – Hotel et Centre de Congrès”, 1080 Talbot boulevard, Chicoutimi, Québec, G7H 4B6
- All arrangements should be confirmed with Chantale Poirier via email at baseballfemininsaguenay@hotmail.com
Should teams wish to arrive earlier or stay longer it will be their own expense. If you do plan on arriving early please contact Chantale Poirier via email at baseballfemininsaguenay@hotmail.com
All teams and officials who are flying in will arrive at Aeroport Saguenay-Bagotville or Quebec City. All travel arrangements should be confirmed with Chantale Poirier.
All games will be played at Stade Arvida in Saguenay (arrondissement Jonquiere)on Gilbert street. There will be washrooms and concessions available at the ball field. The field will be available for practice on Wednesday and booking can be made on a first come first served basis through Chantale Poirier. After the tournament has started, there is a soccer field adjacent to the field that will be available for pre-game warm-up, or two other fields near the Stade Arvida will be available too for team practice.
MEETINGS:
The Pre-Championship Meeting is scheduled for 9:30 pm Wednesday, August 20 at La Pulperie de Chicoutimi / Musée regional, 300 Dubuc street in Chicoutimi. Each team is permitted only to send two reps per team and their Chef de Mission.
