General Information for All Participants
G1. Games will be played at Beazley Field,
G2. Participants must arrive in
G3. Ramada Park Place Hotel and
G4.All participants will be issued a championship identification card which must be presented when entering any game or event associated with the championship. Otherwise an admission fee must be paid.
G5. An opening social will be held Wednesday, August 13th at Beazley field starting at 6:15 PM. A buffet style meal will served featuring pulled pork and chicken burgers. In the event of rain, the social will be held in the adjacent community center gym. All participants are required to attend. Visiting parents can attend as well for a fee of $5 each and tickets can be purchased at the entrance to the social on the evening. We highly encourage everyone to take this opportunity to meet persons from across our great country,
G6. A home run derby in support of breast cancer research will be held in conjunction with the opening social. Details can be found later in this document.
G7. The Opening Ceremony will be held on Thursday, August 14 starting at 6:15 p.m. with a Piper leading the VIPs and participants onto the field in alphabetical order by province except for the host team which will be last. All participants must be at the soccer field adjacent to Beazley Field by 6:00 PM.
G8. Round robin play will begin on Thursday, August 14th and continue until Saturday, August 16th. Semi, Bronze, Gold and placement games will be played on Sunday August 17th. Monday August 14th is a rain date.

G10. CitiFinancial player of game awards will be presented to a member of each team at the conclusion of the game. Awards will be presented by representatives of CitiFinancial.
G11. An all-star team will be selected based on the performance in the round robin games. Awards will be presented at the conclusion of the gold medal game.
G12. Bronze medals will be presented at the conclusion of the bronze medal game.
Additional Information for Team Participants
T1. Teams travelling by air to the championships will be transported by charter bus for games and championship events as well as pick up and drop off at the airport.
T2. Teams travelling by motor vehicle to the Championships are expected to use their own vehicles to travel to and from the fields and events.
T3. There will be four players per room and two coaches per room as assigned by the Team Management unless the team reserves additional rooms at their expense.
T4. All meals with the exception of the Opening Social are the responsibility of the participants/teams.
T5. Dress for the team social and opening ceremony is matching team apparel including hats. Chef de mission is exempt from this requirement.
T6. Team photos will be taken on Thursday. Photos will also be taken during the event and available for viewing and downloading.
T7. Pre-tournament meeting at 9:00pm at Ramada.
