OTTAWA-How would you like your photo to appear on Baseball Canada’s next “You Wish You Could Throw like a Girl” poster! This opportunity can now become reality as Baseball Canada is seeking girl’s baseball photos as part of the Girls Baseball Photo Contest.
Here is how the contest works:
-Starting today and ending June 18th at 4pm ET, individuals are invited to send photos to girls@baseball.ca (*limit of 5 photos per week, per e-mail address/person*)
-What kind of photos do I send? You can send any photos you like with two conditions: the photo must include girls and baseball! We encourage you to be as creative as you’d like!
-Baseball Canada will select 12 photos from all submissions and have 3 new posters designed incorporating these photos (Each of the 12 selected photos is guaranteed to appear on at least one of the poster designs).
-The three posters will be displayed on Baseball.ca on June 28th and the public will have from June 28th at Noon ET until July 13th at Noon ET to vote for their favourite poster design.
-On August 10th at the IBAF Women’s Baseball World Cup, the winning poster design will be revealed by the Women’s National Team
-If your photo appears on the winning poster, you will receive an autographed bat signed by the Women’s National Team. All individuals that submit photos will be entered into a draw for Baseball Canada merchandise.
This poster will be used by Baseball Canada in promotional material for Girls Baseball and displayed proudly on the Baseball Canada’s Girls Baseball webpage.
*Please note: All photos submitted are property of Baseball Canada…Photos must be submitted in JPEG format.
Photo Contest Timeline
June 18th (4pm ET): Last day to submit photos via e-mail to: girls@baseball.ca
June 28th (12pm ET): New posters revealed on Baseball.ca and voting begins
July 13th (12pm ET): Voting ends
August 10th: Winning poster announced on Baseball.ca by Women’s National Team
