Final National Championship This Week

OTTAWA- Baseball Canada’s last National Championship will get underway this week with the Peewee Atlantic championship scheduled for Summerside PEI from September 9^th-12^th.

The town of Summerside continues a strong tradition of hosting national championships as they were the permanent host of the Peewee Nationals in the past.

This year the field of eight teams includes: from Newfoundland, St. John’s and Mount Pearl; representing New Brunswick are Saint John and the KV squad; from Nova Scotia, Halifax and Yarmouth and joining the host Summerside club will be Charlottetown to represent PEI.

Action begins on September 9^th with the Gold and Bronze Medal games scheduled for September 12^th.
