The Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Academy will host 26 Blue Jays Honda Super Camps in 2014.  Camps will take place in all ten Canadian provinces from May through August.

Blue Jays Honda Super Camps are instructional baseball camps for players aged 9-16.  The camps cover the fundamentals of the game of baseball; hitting, infield, outfield, base running, bunting and pitching.  Blue Jays alumni will act as instructors, with assistance from coaches from Baseball Canada and Little League Canada.

Registration is open to both male and female players and is now available at bluejays.com/baseballacademy. Camp registration is limited to 150 participants per camp.  Each participant will receive; a Blue Jays hat, Blue Jays Baseball Academy t-shirt, Blue Jays Baseball Academy Instructional manual and a 12-inch Alomar Baseball, baseball glove.

Blue Jays Honda Super Camps are scheduled to visit the following cities; Toronto, Ontario; Montreal, Quebec; Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia; Calgary, Lloydminster and Medicine Hat; Alberta, Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Instructors will include; Roberto Alomar, Duane Ward, Devon White, Jesse Barfield, Lloyd Moseby, Carlos Delgado, George Bell, Tony Fernandez, and Cecil Fielder.  Baseball Canada and provincial baseball associations will also assist in providing quality baseball instructors.

“We are very pleased to continue our partnership with Baseball Canada and promote participation in the game of baseball across Canada. The Super Camp program now in its fourth year has given kids across the country an opportunity for elite level instruction that only Baseball Canada and our Blue Jays alumni can provide. Together we continue to encourage the growth of the game of baseball in this country”. – Stephen Brooks, Senior Vice President, Business Operations, Toronto Blue Jays

Through the Jays Care Foundation, the Blue Jays Baseball Academy will donate registration fees for a select number of players from local Boy & Girls Clubs across Canada.  The Toronto Chapter of the Baseball Writers of America Association (BBWAA) will also donate registration fees for a select number of players.
